Join us at this special celebration for "Dia de los Muertos"! Participants are encouraged to dress in their Dia de los Muertos make up and costumes!
DIA DE LOS MUERTOS ALTAR. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of a photo of a passed loved one, flowers, food for our altar (decorated table) on display we'll have near the finish line (All items should be brought on bib pick up on Saturday, October 26th, photos should be 5" x 7" or smaller and make sure you pick up photo/items before leaving on race day!

Come and celebrate “5 de Mayo” at this UNIQUE EVENT! Join your fellow taco loving participants and run this SCENIC COURSE out and back along Woodward Park on a 100% dirt road/trail! Choose the 5K or 5-Mile race, with a Kids’ Fun Run as part of the day as well. As you cross the finish line, you will be greeted by a post-run FIESTA like none other! MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT before, during, and after your run, followed by a FOLKLORICO DANCE demonstration. Whether running or supporting a runner, everyone is welcome to celebrate running, food, and community. For sure, a FUN event you don't want to miss!

FRESNO 5000M & MILE TRACK RACE
Run a 5000 meter (5K) race on the Fresno High School track, or choose the 1-Mile run for a shorter challenge. There will also be a 100 meter Kids’ Fun Run and a 4x400 meter relay to finish the event. Hot chocolate, sweet bread, and cookies are given to every finisher!
100% of the proceeds will go to the Fresno High School Track Team.
DIA DE LOS REYES MAGOS HALF MARATHON & 5K RUN/WALK
January the 6th is a special day in Mexico. It is known as 'El Dia de Reyes' or Three Kings' Day. The date commemorates the three wise men, who traveled from afar, bearing gifts for the infant baby Jesus. On the night of January 5th, children put one of their shoes under the bed and the next day they wake up to see a small gift left there by the three kings or the 'reyes magos'. Finally, during this celebration Mexicans serve 'Rosca de Reyes' or Kings' Cake. This cake has an oval shape and has a small doll inside which represents baby Jesus. The person who gets the slice with the doll must host a party on February 2nd.
